Suns v Bucks Game 6 Prediction – 21 July 2020 – 09:00 AM (GMT+8) – After five games, the Milwaukee Bucks lead the Phoenix Suns 3-2 in the NBA Finals! After being down 0-2 in the series, the Bucks won three straight and need only one win to be crowned NBA Champions. Now, the series heads back to the Fiserv Forum, where Phoenix must win to keep their championship dreams alive. Let’s take a look at their previous game to see who is the best choice to win Game 6.
Suns v Bucks Game 6 Prediction - Phoenix Suns Preview
The Phoenix Suns have again had an underwhelming performance, as they lost Game 5 in their very own arena. They led by as many as 16 points in the first quarter, but the Bucks caught up with them and they were behind by three at the half. Finding themselves struggling in the 3rd quarter, Phoenix found momentum on their side again entering the 4th with a run. However, Milwaukee was able to hold them off, and the Suns lost their third game in a row.
Devin Booker scored 40 points, becoming the first player to lose back-to-back games in the finals despite scoring 40 or more. Chris Paul had 21 points and 11 assists, while Deandre Ayton had 20 points and 11 rebounds in the losing effort. Suns coach Monty Williams lamented that his side weren’t able to sustain the energy they has in the first quarter and the early part of the fourth. He challenged his men after the loss to “put the Bucks back on the plane” as they head into Game 6 at the Fiserv Forum.
Suns v Bucks Game 6 Prediction - Phoenix Suns Key Player
Chris Paul continues to be unlucky. His performance was capped off with a controversial move as he hung on to Antetokounmpo while receiving the alley-oop dunk. Now, he must get out of the slump, use all of his past playoff experience and rally the Suns to get the equalising win in this series.
Suns v Bucks Game 6 Prediction - Milwaukee Bucks Preview
After a slow start at the Phoenix Suns Arena, the Milwaukee Bucks clawed back from a 16-point deficit and established a 64-61 lead at halftime. Despite a hostile crowd, they were able to maintain the lead as the third quarter went along. The Suns made the Bucks nervous with a surge of points early in the fourth that put them within ten. However, Milwaukee’s “Big Three” stepped up to the moment. In the biggest play of the night, Jrue Holliday stripped Booker and ran down the court, lobbing it to Giannis Antetokounmpo for the alley-oop. Despite a push from below from Chris Paul, Antetokounmpo converted the dunk to the horror of the Phoenix fans.

Giannis Antetokounmpo had a total of 32 points, 9 rebounds and 6 assists. Khris Middleton scored 29, and Jrue Holliday chalked up 27 points and 13 assists. Bucks coach Mike Budenholzer sees the opportunity to close out the series at home as a great one, but he says that his men have to come out big defensively and make plays together to earn that win.
Suns v Bucks Game 6 Prediction - Milwaukee Bucks Key Player
Giannis Antetokounmpo will be playing the most important game of his life, as he tries to win the NBA championship for the first time at the tender age of 26. He, as well as Khris Middleton and Jrue Holliday, will be the focus of the Suns’ pesky defence. With a more friendly crowd that won’t bother him during free throws, the pressure is on him to have a near flawless game.
Suns v Bucks Game 6 Prediction - Final Thoughts
The first four games showed that each team could only win at home, but the Bucks broke the trend in Game 5 with an emphatic victory in Phoenix. We strongly think the Suns will also do the same in front of a hostile crowd that is eager to see an awarding ceremony on their own floor. Expect Paul and Booker to deliver under pressure and make the Suns win, forcing a deciding Game 7. Let’s take a look at our prediction.
